The Quarry was fun and something different. Silverhorn was a course that
showed some class with a traditional course layout and was beautifully maintained.

Back from San Antonio and wanted to say that we really appreciated your help on our trip.
We visited most of the restaurants you mentioned and were uniformly delighted. Had planned
to play Canyon Springs and appreciated your help. Hadn't heard about Pecan Valley. Played
it Friday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I really like what they did in putting up the plaques
at various places around the course. Got a big kick out of the plaque on 18 that said that
Arnold Palmer hit a 3 wood from this spot to within 12 feet of the hole to challenge for a
Grand Slam. Missed the putt, but what a way to go!
At any rate, thanks for telling me about the course.
